Optimising flock productivity: tacking lameness in sheep

Join us for an interesting and informative evening talk and barbecue, discussing strategies for getting infectious lameness under control.

We are pleased to welcome Joe Angell, who is in farm practice in North Wales and has carried out a significant amount of research into CODD in conjunction with the University of Liverpool. Along with investigating the cause of CODD, he has studied treatment strategies, and some of his work took place on farms close to South Molton.

In addition, Torch Vets will be discussing how our lameness reduction advisors can work with your flock to implement the industry recognised five-point lameness control plan.

Date: Tuesday, 14 August

Time: 5-9pm

Place: Southcott Farm, Burrington EX37 9LF, by kind invitation of Liz and Brian Griffiths.

This event is free to attend – please book your place by phoning 01769 610000, or email
