We think that it is important that the farm vets of the future are exposed to the right kind of EMS that has some structure and goals that are relevant to the modern dairy, beef and sheep industries. We aim to provide EMS which allows students to gain a true representation of work as a farm vet and to have the chance to develop skills suitable for your level of the course. Wherever possible, we will offer you a mentor vet whilst you are with us and our friendly support team will help you to maximise your learning opportunities from our varied daily caseload.
We are currently unable to take applications due to capacity.
Year 10 Work Experience
From a Health & Safety perspective, Farm and Equine Veterinary practice is seen as a high risk environment, therefore we are unable to offer work experience placements to Year 10 students.
16-18 Year olds Work experience
Work Experience placements for this year are already fully booked.
Students wishing to train as a Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Nurse require work experience to support their application, therefore there is an extremely high demand for places. We advise that you apply for a placement at least 6 months in advance. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate everyone.
