As newer cases develop across the Midlands and South East, it’s great to see that our vaccination amnesty has provided a cost-effective way for so many clients to re-start lapsed vaccination courses, or bring forward booster dates.

Recent cases have been seen in imported horses, so a 21-day isolation of new arrivals is recommended at present.

In this outbreak it has been clear to see that vaccination has reduced transmission of disease and decreased clinical symptoms in those which are fully vaccinated against influenza.
